PeopleNet Support Technician

Summary
The PeopleNet Support group serves as the expert operator to initiate, resolve and repair all items within the Company's outlined PeopleNet operating requirements. This position includes a schedule with an on call rotation every third week. During this time you must be available 24/7.
Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Provide technical support to Load Planners / Driver Support, Mechanics and Drivers.
Understand all aspects of the PeopleNet system from installations, repairs and uninstalls.
Repair communication issues on trucks, Company and contractor, in field.
Schedule repairs and installs with shop.
Administer PeopleNet Fleet Manager Maintenance by establishing initial settings, maintain correct grouping based upon TMW profile, and reporting for speed gauge.
Maintain PeopleNet inventory by maintaining RTA and weekly counts.
Provide corporate support to Company and contractors in TMW system.
Identify and resolve issues with the PeopleNet system.
Update drivers and equipment in TMW.
Required Skills
Proficient at using Microsoft Office suite.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
Must be able to work in a team environment
Must be able to perform the essential functions in a fast paced and high stress environment.
Must possess exceptional customer service skills and the ability to work with current and potential customers, both internal and external.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
